Did you read Lesley Lambert's article on Agent Genius?
Check it out here: http://agentgenius.com/real-estate-technology-new-media/how-long-should-realtors-spend-using-social-media-every-day/
And it got me thinking about our tendency to want to block everything into a time slot.
Maybe we all need a little less "time blocking" and a little more "you do something until you finish it, and that's the amount of time it takes to do it" kind of thinking .....
Drop on comment on AG, if you are so inspired....

Thanks for reposting this. It does make you think. I have a 5-5-3-1 rule. At least 5 calls, 5 notes (snail mail or electronic) three new folks to my database and 1 face to face per day. Some days it takes longer then others.
Cheryl,
Thanks for linking to a great article about social media time management that millions are struggling with. Social media time should be budgeted. Larger companies have full time "Reputation Managers" who spend all day spreading the word via social media. Realtors typically can't justify a full time employee for social media management and therfore have to carefully manage the temptation to be online all day socializing.
