Random thoughts on art, technology, stuff, and occasionally Real Estate: Godspeed, Grace

Godspeed, Grace

Grace Ortiz worked for us the past three or four years part time as a receptionist, data-entry expert, file person, and all round assistant.

Grace's last day with us was December 22.  Grace will be leaving January 8 for Cambodia, serving as a missionary for her church.

While I may not share her beliefs, I truly respect and admire anyone with the courage and conviction to live their faith.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, Grace.

No, Gracie is an L. A. native.  I don't she's traveled much outside the U.S. before ... she's only 22!  I asked her to please write up all her experiences in her myspace blog (provided there's a working internet connection!) ... If she does, I'll post the link here for everyone to follow along.

Good luck to Grace!

I'd love to follow her journey on her myspace blog.

CJ ~ she will love Cambodia. It was one of may very favorite places.  The people are warm and friendly and they certainly need our help.  Gracie will have a wonderful life experience.  I hope she will communicate her experiences with us.

Do you know where in Cambodia she is going?

It's so welcome to see a tribune and well-wishing when someone leaves your office. So many brokers try to sweep it under the carpet - I don't know why, since it won't erase the friendships they've made while working there. Why not tell the office when someone leaves, and where they're going, rather than just have the agents figure out that they haven't seen someone lately or noticed their name missing from the sign-in board?
