Friday Classics: Let's Twist (And Shout) Again

Hey ... I remember this dance!

Maybe if I twisted with Chubby every day, I'd be a little less "chubby" myself .... ya think?

Or I could always twist with John, Paul, George and Ringo; (This one takes a moment to load. Be patient).

Great oldies but goodies.  Today, if I twist down low, I'm not sure I will be able to come back up!

Cheryl, there's nothing like to oldies to kick the morning off right.  A little too much twisting has got me tired.

I'm not much of a dancer and it's obviously the right decision.

Cheryl, I loved this music, BOTH of them!  I saw Chubby Checker years ago and that was the only song I knew, he sang it over and over and we all loved it every time!

I didn't grow up in ths era, however, my mom did. She would play this all the time when I was a kid and definately gave me the appreciation for just good down fun. Thanks for sharing.

Oh the memories.  When I was in grade school, my best friend's Mom was having a party.  She gave us money to take the bus to Asbury Park and buy the Chubby Checker Album (not cd!)  :)  Asbury Park is where The Boss Bruce Springsteen started signing a few years later. :)

The Beatles came along shortly thereafter. They looked so messy to us remember? The LONG hair!  hahaha Of course us girls never wore slacks to school.  That happened after I graduated.

Now look at us!

You are not chubby in the least! You probably do pilates in your sleep!  Seriously, thanks for the fun clips! Have a great weekend :)

Those videos were so enjoyable.  We can trust you to search youtube and bring us some delightful oldies!  I smiled through both of them.
