Maxthon ( http://www.maxthon.com/index.htm ) somehow managed to fly under my radar.
But thanks to Ted Baker, I discovered it!
And yes, it does mimic Internet Explorer well enough that I can use it to access the I-Tech Rapattoni MLS system! Woo-hooo!!!
I just downloaded and installed Maxthon, logged into the I-Tech MLS and ran it through several different functions -- searches, reports, CMAs; and no, the silly IE-only MLS system hasn't barfed with it yet!

You leave me intrigued, Cheryl. The headline got me in, but I still don't know what you wrote about. Guess I'll have to hit the links and try to see how it might help me. You certainly sound excited.
Vickie: You probably used Microsoft's Interent Explorer browser to visit this blog. And that's good, millions of people use Internet Explorer.
However, it isn't the only internet browser in existence. There's Firefox, and Opera, and Flock, and Netscape, and others ....
But many MLS systems around the country were built to be used only with Internet Explorer. If you try to use Firefox, for example, you get chopped pages, and wonky behaviour, if you even manage to get in at all.
That rankles some people. So coming across any browser other than IE that works with an MLS system is occaision for a Happy Dance.
