Looks like Huffington Post is first up with the full text version of Obama's Housing Plan speech, given today February 18 in Arizona

Here it is on Reuters: http://in.reuters.com/article/marketsNewsUS/idINN1843410920090218
I watched it on cable. Whatever else you think about the plan, you gotta admit Mr. Obama is a powerful orator! The effect of the delivery was very positive.
The comment stream on Huffington is pretty interesting, too.

Cheryl - it is a well written speech. And I agree, with a prepared text and a teleprompter, President Obama is a very good orator. The fourth step in the strategy is one that worries me, it is another vague promise that we have no idea what it will lead to.
Thanks for the link CJ. THis ought to be a great help to people in default and/or facing foreclosure. Yet, with no job or a sick kid, I don't know if any loan mod will work for any length of time. I'm also wondering what it will do with all the "short sales" where people have just stopped paying and started to let the property deteriorate.
I just hope it works the way he explained it. At least the loan officers of the worrld will be happy.
