I am not a big Jack Black fan but I love this musical... there are some great lines there. @AlmightyGod on Twitter was talking to me about what is in the bible a few weeks ago on Twitter and I did not know how to take it or how to respond... He brought up the subjects of evolution and slavery on the birthday shared by Darwin and Abe Lincoln. I lie awake at night and think.... "huh?"
I just think its a shame that anyone has the power to take away basic rights from another person in this country. Are we not the land of the free? Especially wrong is confusing this with a religious issue when we are talking about basic things such as having health care from the partners employer. Without my wife I would not have healthcare and I have had serious medical issues lately. If we were gay I would be in the poor house the rest of my life. Is that fair? No its not.
I loved this musical! How ridiculous to think that gay couples are any less a couple than a straight couple or should have less rights. My mind cannot grasp the inequality. Don't we have much more serious things to worry about in this country?
